This is wonderful, especially if you have a metal surface nearby. I was painting in the dimly-lit laundry room. I could use the magnetic feet of this light to stick it to the side of the washer and shine it exactly where I needed the extra light.

I bought this Gorillatorch for my husband on a whim when it was on sale. We didn't really need it; we have a flashlight in each room because the power goes out a lot. This is so much better than a flashlight! The bendy legs and neck allow you to position it any way you want, and the light is really bright. I'll be able to read by it during the next blackout. My husband loves it for grilling at night; he can twist the legs around the porch railing and point the light at the steaks. Plus, I think it's adorable. It looks like a little robot!
The next time I need a present for a hard-to-shop-for relative, I'm going to order another Gorillatorch.

I bought this light to use outdoors. It has exceeded my expectations. I took it caving not too long ago just to test it out. My headlamp which is a pretty good one was really not enough. I wrapped the legs of the Gorillatorch around my backpack strap and all of the sudden had more light than I knew what to do with. It is super bright and pure light. I can't wait to use it for other things as well. If the battery life lives up to expectations, this could be the best light ever! If only the headlamp companies would start using Cree LEDs in their products...

I love this light. The tripod stand is handy making it multidirectional, the light is very bright and light weight and the magnetic feet keep it in place while working.
