We specifically bought these for my 3 year old sons, first airplane ride. He was noise sensitive and then had tubes put in his ears making him more sensitive. I let him try them on a couple of times at home, so they would be familiar. Then when were about to board and the noise got loud we put them on for him. The way down he slept through the take off and on the way back he slept through the landing. Which demonstrated to me how comfortable they were on a pre-schoolers head. I would recommend this for any loud event, we will be taking them with us to the air show that they have in town for the 4th of July. And we have been avoiding the "shows on ice, etc..." and now I think we can safely attend and enjoy them! Well worth the money.

My son LOVES these...at sporting events before the roar of the crowd would startle him to teers...now he thinks all of the chanting people are funny, and when he gets sleepy he falls right asleep in my arms...My only negative comment is that they are kind of hot for him at sunny outdoor events, but otherwise AWESOME product and recommend it highly!!

These do adjust as advertised, just not it the normal way. The wires that hold the headphones in place pull out from the ear cups instead of from the headband. This may have confused the man who left a negative review claiming that the headphones didn't adjust.Peltor 97070 Junior Earmuff, Black

I have a child w/"severe autism".
He is VERY noise defensive.
We have tried all sorts of noise canceling headphones and these are the only ones he likes.
The other ones squeeze his head too much.
He wear them ALL the time.
These are the same headphones they use in school

We have a 3 year old grandson who is scared to death of fireworks. We planned a trip to Disney and wanted him to enjoy the fireworks show at the Magice Kingdom but knew from experience that he would bury his head in his Papa's shoulder at the first bang. With these headphones on, he watched the entire show with a look of wonder in his eyes and not even a flinch. We also stuck them on him for a couple of shows that had very loud music and "pops" throughout and he loved it. Great product!
