Take my advice - I'm a drummer February 16, 2010 A. KING (Silicon Valley, CA) I play drums in a very loud band and these things work great. They cut a lot of the volume out and do so across a pretty decent sound spectrum. The lows can still be a bit too rumbly but it sure beats the heck out of having ringing the ears for days after a show.
Remember gang: always use hearing protection when playing drums.
Inexpensive and efficient January 9, 2010 eCognition (CA United States) That's pretty much it. They're individually packaged, easy to insert, a great buy on Amazon and reusable at least once, if you keep your ears clean. I sacrificed intense concentration in my studies because of the price these command in retail stores. I Don't need to do that anymore.
One of the Best December 23, 2009 Marina These earplugs are great. You can use it for anything, if your doing construction work with the loud drill or just trying to study for your next exam. Very easy to insert into the ear and are a great value. I think I wont be running out of earplugs for a long time.
Works well, awesome price! November 17, 2009 Project Enigma (7-11 hiding In The Bushes) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I hand these out at shows I run sound for and they are very well received. Nice that they are in individually wrapped pairs.
Comfortable, but not much noise reduction... November 12, 2009 M. Ram (San Jose, CA, USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
These earplugs are well-made; they're thick and dense, but squish and roll in your fingers easily, and fit into the ear canal nicely. Once they're in, the ambient noise in the room is muffled, but I can still hear nearly every sound...I should have researched the subject more, as it turns out that 29db is only as loud as a whisper. I think the overall size of each plug (cylindrically) is a bit too small, so that might be why some of the sound still gets through.
Honestly, I haven't noticed much of a difference in my sleep, but I'm still happy with my purchase. 200 plugs for the price is a great deal, and I have the feeling that they'll have more of an effect when I do some lawn mowing and such outside.
